Tender Pork Ribs with Pineapple Barbecue Sauce

Roasting pork ribs is a common dish, and mastering the baking technique is essential for making the ribs tender and juicy. Let’s see how to cook delicious pork ribs!

To achieve tender and juicy pork ribs, the key is to use aluminum foil and bake them slowly at a low temperature. The foil helps to lock in moisture during baking, and the low, slow cooking allows the steam inside the foil to slowly cook the ribs, keeping them moist and ensuring that the meat turns out tender and delicious

This time, I used pineapple to make the marinade and then turned it into a glaze for the pork ribs. The pineapple helps the sauce caramelize more easily on the ribs during baking, giving a sweeter flavor. Even half a rack of ribs can feel like not enough to eat!

Ingredients (serve 2)

Pork Ribs

1pc (500g)

Canned Pineapple

4 slices

Pineapple juice from the can

a bit

Garlic

6 cloves

Onion

½ bulb

Ground Black Pepper

1 tsp

Salt

1 tsp

Barbecue Sauce

5 tbsp

Steps

1.

Add garlic, onion, pineapple, black pepper, salt, barbecue sauce, and a bit of pineapple juice from the can into a blender and blend until smooth.

2.

Pour the pineapple barbecue sauce over the pork ribs and coat them evenly. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for 3 hours.

3.

After marinating, remove the ribs and pat off excess marinade. Preheat the oven to 130°C.

4.

Take two large sheets of aluminum foil. First, wrap the ribs in one sheet, then wrap with the second sheet for extra coverage. Bake in the oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

5.

Strain the remaining marinade to obtain a smooth glaze.

6.

After baking for 1.5 hours, remove the ribs and increase the oven temperature to 220°C. Evenly spread the strained glaze over the ribs and return them to the oven for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, remove the ribs, apply another layer of glaze, and bake for an additional 6 minutes.
