Ham & Cheese Breakfast Rolls

A nutritious breakfast made in 20 minutes—‘have a good morning’ is that simple!


Not sure what to have for breakfast? You definitely need to try these cheese rolls made with bread. Using easily accessible ingredients, you can have them ready in just 20 minutes. If you want to take them to work or school, simply wrap them in parchment paper and place them in a bag—easy to eat anytime, convenient and quick!



Ingredients (serve 2)

 

Ham

4 slices

Egg

4 bulb

Sliced Bread

4 slices

Cabbage

to taste

Mayonnaise

1 tbsp

Mozzarella Cheese

40g

Salt

1 pinch


Steps

 



1.

Trim the edges off the bread and flatten it with a rolling pin








2.

Shred the cabbage (you can use a mandoline or a knife to cut it into fine strips).










3.

Add mayonnaise to the shredded cabbage and mix well.







4.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the egg until it is half-cooked. You can sprinkle a little salt for seasoning during cooking.









5.

Using the same pan, sauté the ham slices until they are fragrant.







6.

Place the shredded cabbage, ham, egg, and cheese in the center of the bread. Roll the bread from one corner to the opposite corner. To seal the edge, you can spread a little mayonnaise, which will help the bread stick together.








7.

Heat a pan over medium heat, add oil, and place the bread roll seam-side down to start frying. Once golden brown, turn the bread roll to cook the other sides.







8.

The cheesy ham and egg roll is ready!
