Baked Christmas Salmon Wreath - a Showstopper Dish in your Christmas Party

Every Christmas, I enjoy creating festive dishes to prepare for hosting friends at a Christmas party. For such an important home party, a beautiful and delicious Christmas dish is a must.

This Christmas wreath made with salmon looks impressive (Big Boy's strength is feeling good about himself), and the ingredients are quite simple, just a few pieces of salmon, a simple sauce, and salad greens for decoration. The salmon, baked this way, becomes tender and delicious!

However, making this salmon wreath does require a bit of skill, especially in how to connect several pieces of salmon together. First, you need to buy salmon fillets to make this dish. The salmon must be skinless; you can buy those that are already skinless, or like me, if you can only find salmon with skin, you'll need to remove it yourself.

After removing the skin, cut the salmon into long strips, then tie them together in a braided pattern, and secure the joints with toothpicks. It may take some time to get the hang of it at first, but you'll get more skilled with practice.

Christmas is coming soon, and if you haven't decided what to cook yet, why not try this salmon wreath? When you serve it to guests, everyone will surely be amazed by this masterpiece! The video is ready for you, and scrolling down will reveal detailed written recipes and instructions.

Ingredients

Salmon Fillet

4-5 pcs (1100g)

Mixed Salad Leaves

to garnish

Garlic

3 cloves

Rosemary

1 sprig

Lemon

1 bulb

Honey

2 tbsp

Paprika

1 tsp

Salt

2 tsp

Ground Black Pepper

1 tsp

Cinnamon powder

½ tsp

Olive oil

3-4 tbsp

Steps

1.

Put garlic, paprika, cinnamon powder, black pepper, salt, honey, rosemary, lemon juice, and olive oil into a blender. Blend until smooth to make the marinade sauce.

2.

Remove the skin from the salmon fillets. Make two vertical cuts into each piece of salmon, dividing them into 3 long strips.

3.

Take a large sheet of baking paper, then braid the salmon strips into three sections (similar to braiding hair).

4.

Braid each piece of salmon using the same method. Then connect the braided salmon pieces together, securing the connections with toothpicks. Finally, shape it into a ring.

5.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (or 190°C for a smaller oven).

6.

Place the salmon wreath along with the parchment paper on a baking sheet. Then, evenly spread the marinade over the salmon.

7.

Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes after coating it with the sauce.

8.

Remove the toothpicks one by one after baking.

9.

Place an appropriate amount of salad greens on the surface of the salmon wreath as decoration, and it's done!
